Road Warrior

It was a sunny day in the Mission so I hauled out the bike and prepared for another ride to the ocean. I got this geek gut from sitting in front of a computer for 3 years and it is time to work it off. I've already lost about ten pounds just from riding the last few weeks.

I have really missed riding but the traffic was getting too insane. The trick now is to ride at times and in places where I don't have to go into "Road Warrior Mode" just to survive. I'm getting too old for that shit.

SF Fog

Although it was sunny in the 'hood, the West side of town was fogged in so there weren't many good pix to take.

The ride was cool except for this other bike rider who insisted on continually passing and then riding right in front of me all through Golden Gate Park. After a while I tired of this game and left him in the dust. The last thing I wanted to do was race with this guy.

I had a wonderful time eating lunch in the dunes and doing vipassana for about an hour. I didn't want to leave even though it was cold and grey.

I opened my eyes and everything looked lit up like the sun was out but it wasn't. Kewl!

Note the my grewvy new handlebar mirrror so I can see those nasty death machines closing in from behind.
