Subject: Our World Too
Could a "One World Government" ever become a reality? There are so many obstacles, that one might consider this just a "Pipe Dream", based on religious prophesy with no credible basis. Of course, the first big obstacle is the current governments, in complete control of their respective countries. Other obstacles involve the election of top ranking officials, religious beliefs, law enforcement, and protection from corruption of the elected officials. I see it happening, and I think it is possible today, even with our mixed emotions and varying attitudes throughout the world. We have our country, and other countries, to base a model on, which can be taken to the next level of protection, while allowing individual communities their right to enact socially acceptable forms of control. The protection I mention is the protection of the individual against leaders who would use their power to benefit themselves or others, at the cost of anyone's freedom, health, or prosperity. We could also protect ourselves as a world from wars provoked against ourselves, because of any act by one, or more countries, who have no moral boundaries, and will attack fellow nations, to satisfy their greed for control. It doesn't matter which country started the last 50 wars, they were all started over greed for control.
I would like to speak to you this way, because though I am an average person, I have a hard time getting around my emotions, while speaking to people. I have found that if I write what I want expressed, it allows me to follow through on a thought more completely, than while speaking. It also allows for a written record, by either you or I, about what was said, which allows for follow up questions and credibility.
