Even an Erhard Thomas with his crusade against Sanny-ass-ins, Sack-rat-shitas,
SSarlos and the like does not stand outside the law and has to respect
privacy.
Modifying of pictures is not the point. Any use of private pictures and
mails of somebody by Mr. Erhard Thomas on his websites without
permission of that person is a violation of the privacy and copyright
and could be made a legal case.
